Everyone should have a chocolate chip recipe in their back pocket. That go-to recipe that never fails. This is mine.
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Beat butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Sift in flour, baking soda and salt and mix unti combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by tablespoonfuls on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
