Homemade Garlic Herb Bread

Delicious buttery garlic herb bread. An Italian bread loaf sliced and loaded with butter, garlic and herbs. The perfect side to spaghetti, the most sinful partner to spinach dip and by itself, downright amazing.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill
  • 1/4 tsp coarse sea salt
  • 1/4 cup parmesan, grated
  • 1 loaf Italian bread

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Mix the first seven ingredients together until well combined. 

  3. Slice the loaf of bread into 1" thick slices, but don't slice all the way through the bottom crust. You want the bread to stay together. Smear a generous amount of butter on each side of every slice.

  4. Wrap tightly with foil and bake for 15-18 minutes or until hot and melted through. Serve warm.
