A delicious buttery slider, perfect for parties and game day snacks. Layers of shaved ham, gooey melted mozzarella and sweet pineapple nestled in a soft Hawaiian bun and bathed in a rich flavourful butter sauce. It's irresistible.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cut sliders in half keep them attached if possible. Lay the bottom of the rolls into the prepared baking dish.
In a small saucepan melt butter and stir in onions, brown sugar, pineapple juice, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Whisk until combined and brush a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of the cut rolls. Then stir the poppy seeds into the rest of the sauce in the pan and set aside.
Start layering the sliders, spread half the mozzarella on the bottom half of the rolls, then the ham, pineapple rings, (you may have to break these up to make them fit) and remaining mozzarella. Cover with the top of the buns and pour the sauce over the buns.
Cover the pan with tin foil. Bake for 20 minutes, serve immediately.
