Crunchy Ramen Noodle Salad

My ultimate favourite salad. This Crunchy Ramen Noodle Salad is loaded with almonds, sunflower and sesame seeds and a dressing that is so good! This Asian flavoured side dish is irresistible.

INGREDIENTS

  • 10 oz. bag of angel hair coleslaw
  • 5 green onions (tops only) sliced
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 pkg ramen noodles (I used Chicken)

Dressing

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 seasoning packet from the ramen
  • salt and pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Toast the almonds under the broiler for a few minutes, until they're fragrant and golden brown. Watch these carefully as they can burn easily. Let these cool for a bit.

  2. Combine all the salad ingredients except the ramen noodles. Whisk together the dressing and toss everything together. Adding in the noodles right before serving.
