Better than the restaurant versions. This Hot Dog Chili Sauce is ah-mazing with just the right about of spice and better yet, you know what goes into it!
In a dutch oven, over medium heat, fry ground beef until almost cooked and then add in the diced onions. Stir and cook until the ground beef is cooked through and the onions start to soften.
Add in all the spices and mix well, let cook for a few minutes and then stir in the tomato sauce. Reduce heat, cover and let simmer for one hour, stirring occasionally.
Serve over hot dogs, along with your favourite condiments.
