Stop buying store-bought jarred pizza sauce. This Homemade Fennel Pizza Sauce is so much better and you probably already have all the ingredients in your pantry!
Melt the olive oil and butter together in a dutch oven, over medium heat. Add in onions and cook until soft. Stir in garlic and let cook for 30 seconds or until fragrant.
Add the tomato sauce and tomato paste. Rinse the cans with 1/4 cup of water and add to sauce. Stir in all the seasoning and let simmer for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat.
Spread on pizza crust. Freeze leftovers.
