Grandma’s Oatmeal Coconut Lace Cookies
This is my Grandma's recipe for oatmeal cookies. Now, you might call these lace oatmeal cookies, or crispy oatmeal cookies or maybe something completely different but my Grandma only called them oatmeal cookies. A simple name for a simple recipe. I, however, call them amazing, addictive and with the addition of coconut, Grandma's Oatmeal Coconut Lace Cookies.

Peanut Butter Pie
The first time, I can remember having a slice of Peanut Butter Pie, I was pretty sure I had died and gone to Heaven. It is the best no bake pie in the history of pie, seriously. Years ago, I happened to pop in for a visit at my Grandma's and got invited to stay for dinner and dessert. My grandparents nephew and his wife were visiting and she had made this pie for dessert. Needless to say, I was the first to volunteer to clean the dishes, in the hopes that I could scoop out any extra crumbs.

Fruit Pizza with Shortbread Crust
Ok, friends, I have a treat for you today. Fruit Pizza with Shortbread Crust is the perfect summer dessert. When I think summer desserts, I want something cold, sweet and fruity. This fruit pizza is the perfect bite. A quick shortbread base is topped with a thick layer of sweetened cream cheese which is then brightened up with fresh fruit. It's summer on a plate and the perfect cold dessert for warm weather days.

Hopscotch Cookies
These Hopscotch Cookies remind me of spring, I can remember the sun beaming through the windows, as my mom would scoop off a spoonful of the gooey peanut mixture onto wax paper to harden. She'd usually make these at Christmas time, but they always make me think Easter. They remind me of bird's nests and thus spring and thus Easter. Makes sense, right? So, I'm starting a new tradition with my boys and these will be our staple spring cookies.

Rosemary Butter Cookies
Hi friends! I'm super excited to share this recipe with you. My husband and I are celebrating our fourth wedding anniversary, tomorrow, and these little cookies are the exact cookies we gifted to all our wedding guests. Everyone got a little box to take home and let me tell you, people are still talking about these Rosemary Butter Cookies. That is the mark of a good recipe. Four years later and folks are still requesting these. I think it's fair to say, they're unforgettable!

Milky Way Rice Krispies Squares
It's 8:30 am and I'm already making dessert! Who says you can't have chocolate for breakfast, not this gal! I found our Halloween candy stash in the freezer, yesterday afternoon and knew I had to share this recipe with you all. It's super easy and better than any Rice Krispies treat you've ever had, trust me. The secret is Milky Way Chocolate Bars or if you're in Canada go with Mars Bars (This is the way I use to make these Rice Krispies treats). I have searched high and low for Mars Bars out here, in Georgia and they don't seem to…

Strawberry and Cream Cookie Cups
Valentine's Day is almost here. Do you know what you're making for dinner, how about dessert? I have no idea what we'll do for supper, well actually, it'll probably be some sort of takeout. Romance to me when you have two little kids and dinner is delivered by your handsome husband. I'm secretly hoping for pizza, or maybe not so secretly. I can proudly say, I've got dessert covered with these amazing Strawberry and Cream Cookie Cups. I've been thinking about these cookies since I came across Lindor's Valentine's Day Strawberry and Cream Truffles, in the holiday section at target.

Grandma’s Soft Gingersnaps
It's cold here in Georgia right now. Well, cold for us. The Canadian in me is loving the winter vibe. Now, if we only had snow, it would make for a perfect week! I love a good snowstorm, it means movies, cuddles, warm blankets and my Grandma's soft gingersnaps. Straight from the oven, they'll warm you from your head right down to your toes.

Pumpkin Pie Millionaire Shortbread
Just in time for thanksgiving, these pumpkin pie millionaire shortbreads will be a hit at your thanksgiving table. The classic millionaire shortbread gets a fall makeover. So, I’ve been binge watching the Great British Bake Off on Netflix. I’ve literally taken over the tv. My husband will be happy when I’m through the final season and he can get back to basketball and/or football or heck even the news. For those of you who haven’t seen this amazing show I’ll give you the run down. Ten bakers vie to be the best British baker. The bakers each partake in three challenges per…

Grandma’s No Bananas Foster Sauce
Bananas foster holds a soft spot in my little foodie heart. Years ago, my grandma and I took a trip together to St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. It was an amazing trip. I got to spend time with not only my grandma, but also my great aunt who was living there at the time. Besides the fantastic company, beautiful scenery, and salty air there was an assortment of deliciously fresh foods. It’s all I need for an unforgettable vacation.
