Bacon Cheddar Canoe Dip
I wasn't going to share this dip. I have my favourite hot dip already on here. Hot Cheesy Spinach Dip is truly my go-to dip, but then I started craving bacon and warm gooey cream cheese loaded with dill and garlic and extra melty cheddar with bread to dip. I think this time of year always makes me want hot snacks and this Bacon Cheddar Canoe Dip is perfect for that. And besides who couldn't use another craveable dip in their repertoire?

Brown Butter Banana Cake with Caramel Cream Cheese Frosting
Ever have one of those weeks were every time you walk past the bananas on the counter, you notice they're getting more and more fragrant. That's been me this last week. I knew I had to do something about those overly ripe bananas, but I kept putting it off. There's not much you can do with bananas once they hit that wonderfully brownish appearance and odorous stage of life, but you can bake with them and they're perfection in baked goods! So that's exactly what I did. I made Brown Butter Banana Cake with Caramel Cream Cheese Frosting.

Sweet Potato Tuna Melts
There are certain meals I associate with being healthy. I don't know if it's a personal quirk or if it's a universal trait among people. When I decide it's time to make my health a priority, I have a handful of recipes I love and cycle through repeatedly. These Sweet Potato Tuna Melts being one of them. They make me think I'm making better choices, even though they're not exactly healthy. And they'll make you feel the same, I promise.

Homemade Texas Toast Croutons
There are a few things, in my mind, that truly make a salad. One is the dressing, I think this is a given. It's what pulls all the ingredients together. Then there's the cheese, I can't think of the last salad (coleslaw doesn't count) I ate that didn't have cheese in it. And then you'll need to top it with a crispy crunchy crouton, just like these Homemade Texas Toast Croutons.

Chocolate Chip and Toffee Banana Muffins
We love Chocolate Chip and Toffee Banana Muffins in this house! My kids gobble them up like they're the best things ever, and if I'm being frank, I do too! There's something so comforting about a banana muffin. Add in the chocolate chips and toffee bits and they become a really special treat. And on top of everything else, they're environmentally friendly, oh you read that right! Instead of throwing out those ugly old bananas, we're using them to whip up this favourite!

Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole
Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole is a classic recipe. You've probably had this at a potluck, a family gathering or another event. You may even have a copy of a recipe similar to this one tucked away in your recipe box or notebook of favourites. This version, however, is extra creamy and cheesy. I took it upon myself to add a block of cream cheese to the original recipe and oh holy geez, yes, please! This stuff is good!

Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Olives (Two-Ingredients)
These Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Olives were my backup plan. I was sure the original recipe I had in my mind for today's post was going to be good, so I didn't bother really planning ahead. I was so sure in fact, that I created said recipe yesterday and then panicked when it didn't turn out the way I expected. It was good, but when I popped one of these olives into my mouth, I knew this one was the winner.

Mini Peanut Butter Cup Cookies
Mini Peanut Butter Cup Cookies are a total classic. A recipe that always shows up at Christmas. Not that it's only good for the holidays. It's perfect all year round, but I'm feeling very holiday-ish at the moment. I'm not sure why, but this year I am so ready for all things Christmas! It's the beginning of November and I want to put up the stockings and literally deck the halls. Does this ring any bells for you?

Curry Chicken and Broccoli Stuffed Shells
Curry Chicken and Broccoli Stuffed Shells is the perfect weeknight meal for your family. It's such a classic recipe. You've probably tried a version of this dish before. It was likely called Chicken Divan, or maybe Broccoli Chicken Curry Casserole or some variation of that and served over rice. With this version, however, I've upped the comfort factor and stuffed all this curry goodness right inside a pasta shell.

Rustic Wild Rice & Sourdough Dressing
Canadian Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Do you have your meal planned out? I love big family gatherings. This year, it'll just be our family of four for both Canadian and American Thanksgiving, but I know what I'll be making for both meals, this Rustic Wild Rice & Sourdough Dressing! It's my happy holiday side! The one, I can't wait to make a giant dishful because, LEFTOVERS, obviously!
