• Pandemic planning has my house full of random ingredients! Anyone else suffering from ingredient overload? I can't explain it, we don't have a lot of the essentials, but I have eight boxes of cake mix (some would call that essential) and most recently 3 bags of cilantro. What do you do with extra cilantro? You make Cilantro Lime Grilled Chicken and it's the epitome of summer on the plate. It's so fresh and addictive! A definitely must make! #cilantrolimechicken #grilledchickenbreast #cilantrogrilledchicken #limechicken

    Cilantro Lime Grilled Chicken

Who's ready for chicken, like really REALLY good chicken? With all this extra cooking at home, I seem to have an abundance of random ingredients. I think I've counted eight cake mixes, four containers of mayo, multiple bags of red pepper flakes (which will last forever in this house) and most recently three packages of cilantro, what is that? So, out of an overload of the flavourful green leaves, comes Cilantro Lime Grilled Chicken.

  • Fire up the grill asap! This Lemon Pepper Grilled Chicken is so easy and packed with flavour. A simple marinade that creates a mouth-watering chicken. One you may not be able to get enough of! Delicious by itself, amazing on top of a fresh salad.

Barbecue season is here! Finally! I feel like I've been cooped up for months. We are still not venturing too far past our little backyard, but just grilling a meal on the barbecue makes me feel like it's a step outside our kitchen and a new environment. And this Lemon Pepper Grilled Chicken is the perfect meal to share on the patio.

  • Summer Sweets are on deck! Have you ever grilled fruit? It's one of my favourite ways to serve fruit in the summer. Maple Grilled Pineapple Slices with only two ingredients makes for a quick and easy sweet treat. Serve it with a big scoop of ice cream!

Maple Grilled Pineapple Slices (Two Ingredients)

The first time I made this, it was on a whim. I was at the cabin and my folks were grilling something on the barbecue, I don't exactly remember what, but I do remember these Maple Grilled Pineapple Slices. It's a super simple recipe with only two ingredients, so it's pretty hard to forget. But beyond being super easy, it's an incredible summer dessert, top it with a bit of ice cream and it's amazing!

  • A full Sunday breakfast in every bite, guaranteed. Loaded Egg in a Hole is packed full of flavour. A thick slice of bread filled with sausage, peppers, onion and an egg, pan-fried until golden and irresistible. THEN add some cheese to create an extra tasty crust. This easy meal is a favourite and it's totally versatile, add in your favourites and personalize it to your tastes!

    Loaded Egg in a Hole

I go through spurts and starts with the Food Network. There will be weeks where I binge-watch as much food-related tv as I can stand and then nothing for months. I went through one of those bouts a few months back. It was a competition show where on one episode two of the contestants both made a version of eggs in a hole and I knew I needed to share my favourite recipe for Loaded Egg in a Hole.

  • Homemade Greek Seasoning & Mediterranean Roasted Vegetables, together, will rock your side dish world! A spice blend loaded with greek flavours that can be used in multiple ways, but as a marinade on roasted vegetables is my favourite! I highly recommend this easy side dish recipe. Marinating overnight packs maximum flavour, then roast or grill your vegetables until slightly charred for the best vegetable dish out there.

Homemade Greek Seasoning & Mediterranean Roasted Vegetables

I am a huge fan of greek food. I want it all, souvlaki, pita bread, lemon potatoes, dolmades, and feta cheese. Oh and spanakopita, I could live on that flaky cheese pie, alone. Don't even get me started on the desserts. Let's just say, it's one of the most flavour-packed types of cuisine out there. Years ago, I bought a greek dressing mix from Epicure and I used it on everything. Then I ran out, had to come up with my own Homemade Greek Seasoning and I'd put my seasoning up against Epicure's any day!
