Pretzel-Crusted Beer Cheese Macaroni and Cheese

October may have been months ago, but I figure time stands still for good food, right? While this Pretzel-Crusted Beer Cheese Macaroni and Cheese sounds like a total Octoberfest dish (did this even happen last year *sigh), it's absolutely appropriate any time of the year! I've been known to make Hot Beer Cheese Dip in the middle of August, in the hot, humid south because...well cheese + beer + dip, it's kind of self-explanatory!

  • White Cheddar Macaroni and Cheese (Panera Copycat)

I stumbled upon this White Cheddar Macaroni and Cheese by accident. Well, wait, not the macaroni and cheese part, that was intentional, but being a Panera copycat, that part I wasn't expecting. I've been wanting a stovetop macaroni and cheese recipe for years. My go-to has always been that famous blue box which I still love, but today I wanted a gooey, cheesy, rich pasta that only comes from the real deal.

  • Hands up if your McDonald's nugget order includes hot mustard! While not exactly the same, this Hot Mustard Sauce is an extraordinary substitute for the real deal in a pinch. Easy to make and fantastic as a dip, sauce and spread on anything your mustard-loving heart desires.

Hot Mustard Sauce (McDonald’s Almost Copycat)

I'm a HUGE fan of McDonald's Hot Mustard Sauce. It's my top choice, if they don't have hot mustard, I will switch my entire order for something that doesn't require dipping. I have been really lucky out here, though, most of the time it's available, I do cross my fingers when I order because that well could run dry any day. So, to avoid the mustard sauce draught, I decided to come up with my own version. This way when I open that takeout bag and the mustard is missing, I'm already covered!

  • Guess what I dusted off this weekend? Easy Barbecue Sauce is on the blog right now! Aunt Minnie's recipe, she's my grandpa's sister-in-law, so you know this recipe has stood the test of time! We served it over chicken, and it was delicious, she suggested meatballs and ribs. Super easy, ready in minutes. A must for your next cookout!

    Easy Barbecue Sauce

I may miss my hometown like crazy somedays, but I think it's safe to say the barbecue down here is a fantastic consolation prize! I'm a huge fan! The smoked meat itself is so good, but adding a tasty sauce takes it over the top. When I came across this recipe for Easy Barbecue Sauce in our family cookbook, I was excited to give it a try. I've never made barbecue sauce from scratch before, but as it turns out, it's way easier than I thought. And I already had all the ingredients, score! And you know what else, it was delicious!

  • Got 5 minutes? Good, 'cause that's all this Sweet Onion Vinaigrette takes. And trust me when I say those five minutes will be well spent! A tasty vinaigrette with a gentle onion flavour and backed with just enough sweetness to make this irresistible. What are you waiting for?

    Sweet Onion Vinaigrette

So I came across some cranberry and Turkey wraps in the grocery store the other day. They looked amazing. I'll be sharing my copycat recipe in the next couple of weeks. But the kicker for me was that these wraps are served with a Vidalia onion vinaigrette. And I knew, it would be good. So, before I even set out to make the wraps, I whipped up my own version of a Sweet Onion Vinaigrette.

  • Pineapple and Ham Hawaiian Sliders are the perfect easy appetizer. Layers of shaved ham, gooey, melted mozzarella & sweet pineapple slices are nestled on soft Hawaiian dinner rolls are bathed in a rich butter sauce. The best part is the crispy caramelized bottoms on the rolls making these totally irresistible. Give these a try at your next party, but make extras because these mini sandwiches are well-loved and won't survive a crowd, trust me!

    Pineapple and Ham Hawaiian Sliders

I remember the first time I had one of those famous sliders that have been all over Pinterest in the last few years. It was at a party my folks were throwing right after Christmas. One of their friends came with a panful of these tasty mini sandwiches. I took one, had a bite and then realized there probably wasn't enough for everyone and I should've shared. But at that very moment, the flavours hit my tongue, and I ceased to care. It was so good! I've thought about that slider quite a few times over the years. And so, I decided…

Pastrami Sandwiches with Mustard Cream Cheese

Lately, I've been craving sandwiches, really really good sandwiches. You know the kind, the ones that put you in a great mood, and feel like summer. For me, sandwiches remind me of warmer days, when it's too hot to cook. With spring right around the corner, my sandwich cravings have kicked into overdrive. Maybe it was the pregnancy hiatus that pushed me over the edge. Being banned from pastrami is a struggle for me. We've been on a serious sandwich kick, ever since.
