Fergasa Bread (Green Onion Cheddar Buttermilk Bread)
Fergasa Bread is probably my ultimate favourite bread on the entire planet. I don't know if it is the cheddar and green onion combination. Or if it's the soft white bread, the butter-soaked crust, or the mixture of it all. What I do know is that when I would come across a loaf, I'd snatch it up like it was my long lost child. Then, I'd give everyone side-eye as I made my way to the checkout. As if every person I came in contact with might try and pry it from my grip. I know totally obsessive.

Lemon Pepper Bacon and a BLT
When I suggested this to my husband his eyes lit up. I mean lemon pepper bacon, was the one ingredient on Noah Sim's (a Masterchef Season 10 contestant) legendary burger that Joe Bastianich couldn't get enough. So, obviously I would spend the next year thinking about that bacon before I finally gave Lemon Pepper Bacon and a BLT a try.

Sriracha Spiced Mayo
There's this super fun spot in the town across from my hometown. It's the summer hangout for most. The season isn't complete without a trip to Sha Sha. And for me, that means a long island tea (or a couple) and a grilled chicken burger with extra pickles and spicy mayo. So, you know what I did this weekend, I pulled out my barbecue, grilled up some chicken breasts for burgers and made some Sriracha Spiced Mayo to top it with!

Sierra Turkey Cranberry Wraps (Boars Head copycat)
I have the Kroger Deli to thank for this recipe. Our family goes through just shy of two pounds of luncheon meat a week. My husband loves the Boars Head Blackened Turkey, the boys and I love honey ham or pastrami if I'm feeling really indulgent (it's my fav). One busy Saturday morning, I was out doing the weekly grocery run. The line up with a little longer than usual, so I browsed the pre-made sandwiches and there it was Sierra Turkey Cranberry Wraps.

Vegetable Soup Sloppy Joe Pockets
Vegetable Soup Sloppy Joe Pockets are the clean version of the classic. I know it sounds like a unicorn. First of all, aren't sloppy joes suppose to be messy? But really does anyone like that part? For me, I want to get every last bit into my mouth and not on the plate. Secondly, vegetable soup, the one with noodles, that can't be right. Oh, my friends, it is SO right! These are the first sloppy joes I ever ate and I can't wait to share them with you.

Sweet Potato Tuna Melts
There are certain meals I associate with being healthy. I don't know if it's a personal quirk or if it's a universal trait among people. When I decide it's time to make my health a priority, I have a handful of recipes I love and cycle through repeatedly. These Sweet Potato Tuna Melts being one of them. They make me think I'm making better choices, even though they're not exactly healthy. And they'll make you feel the same, I promise.

Pineapple and Ham Hawaiian Sliders
I remember the first time I had one of those famous sliders that have been all over Pinterest in the last few years. It was at a party my folks were throwing right after Christmas. One of their friends came with a panful of these tasty mini sandwiches. I took one, had a bite and then realized there probably wasn't enough for everyone and I should've shared. But at that very moment, the flavours hit my tongue, and I ceased to care. It was so good! I've thought about that slider quite a few times over the years. And so, I decided…

Cranberry & Wild Rice Bread
This summer, while I was home, I came across a loaf of homemade Cranberry & Wild Rice Bread in the gas station. Sounds crazy I know. How many gas stations do you know that sell locally baked goods? If you were lucky enough to grow up in a small town, this won't surprise you! Some of the best foods can be found in the most unusual of places.

Grandma’s Weekend White Bread
I had something else planned to write about this week, but when I finally perfected this recipe. I knew I had to share. Grandma's Weekend White Bread is the version my mom and I came up with when we decided to tackle my Grandma's cryptic recipe. You see, the hand-written recipe card was missing instructions and quantities. Making this recipe a bit of challenge, but a fun project for my mom and me.
