Sugar-Free Pistachio Mousse (Two Ingredients)
In this house, we love a sugar-free, low-carb dessert. I mean, really who doesn’t. We’ve been making these mousse cups since they first showed up on the web a few years back. I think it was when keto became all the rage. No one in our house is following the keto diet but we do love this Sugar-Free Pistachio Mousse. It’s beyond easy to make, has a perfect velvety texture and is downright delish!
All you need is two ingredients, that’s it! Heavy whipping cream and a small box of instant pistachio pudding. I do like to add a few extra pistachios for crunch, but that’s totally optional. Once it’s all mixed up you can eat it right away or put it in the fridge for later.
How to make Sugar-Free Pistachio Mousse
Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 – 1oz. box of sugar-free instant pistachio pudding
Instructions
- Mix together the whipping cream and the box of pistachio pudding using a hand mixer on medium speed.
- Beat together until thick about 2 minutes.
- Store in the refrigerator.
Not only is this dish simple and tasty! It’s also super versatile. You can substitute in any flavour of pudding and it doesn’t have to be sugar-free! So, if you’re craving something rich go with chocolate pudding. Looking for a lighter treat use lemon or vanilla. Try them all until you find the one you like best! You really can’t go wrong!

Wow, so easy !! Mine wasn’t very sweet, so I added 8 oz. crushed pineapple undrained.
I thought about adding sugar-free marshmallows, but I couldn’t find any.
I did add 1/2 cup chopped nuts. It looked just like the photo !! No worries.
This recipe is a keeper !!

I made this dessert tonight and it was delicious. Im looking for the nutritional information. How much fat/ carbs and calories?
Cat
Just look at your containers for calories and carbs!!
Marta Kay Garcia
It has 25 calories or 5 carbs per serving, a serving is 1/4 cup. This is for the sugar free pistachio flavor.

I used sugar free butterscotch and mini Graham cracker pie crusts!! Delish! But it really only takes 1 1/2 mins to whip it up! Best stuff ever!

Thanks Julie!
I’m glad you liked it! I’m going to have to try butterscotch! So many flavours to try out! 😊

Silly question- is whipping cream whipped before adding to pudding?
Tanya
Not silly at all! And no it’s not whipped beforehand. Just pour the liquid whipping cream and pudding mix in a bowl and blend the two together. I hope you enjoy it, Glenda!
