Easter Peanut Butter Cookie Bars
Did the Easter Bunny visit your house last weekend? Was he extra generous? Did he leave behind mountains of sugar-infused energy stockpiles for kids that are already going a little stir crazy? Why did I do this to myself {face palm}, are you asking yourself the same thing? I've got a fun way to use up some of those extra candies you may have an overload of. Whip up a batch of Easter Candy Peanut Butter Bars.

Heart-Shaped Brown Sugar Palmiers (two ingredients)
Just in times for Valentine's Day, these Heart-Shaped Brown Sugar Palmiers are the perfect cookie to share with your loved one. They're crunchy and crispy and caramel-y. A tasty treat using only two ingredients. And so easy to make your kids can do this one. My son has been calling them snail cookies, which I think is adorable and totally appropriate. Seriously, so cute!

Mini Peanut Butter Cup Cookies
Mini Peanut Butter Cup Cookies are a total classic. A recipe that always shows up at Christmas. Not that it's only good for the holidays. It's perfect all year round, but I'm feeling very holiday-ish at the moment. I'm not sure why, but this year I am so ready for all things Christmas! It's the beginning of November and I want to put up the stockings and literally deck the halls. Does this ring any bells for you?

Quick Wooden Toy Box Makeover
When I was first pregnant with our oldest, I had all these dreams of the cutest nursery. We went with a wilderness theme. I framed four big pictures of wildlife: a deer, a fox, a bear and an owl. We bought a few shelves to hang on the wall for books and then we needed something to house Ben's toys. I found these wood crates at Michaels and knew they'd be perfect for a Quick Wooden Toy Box Makeover

Bunny Binoculars
I have been saving empty toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls and egg cartons for sometime now. Not with any particular craft in mind, but knowing that they may come in handy, one day. I had two empty toilet paper rolls on the countertop, in our washroom, and my son instinctively grabbed these and put them up to his eyes and told me he could see me. We laughed together and played I see you, for the next few minutes. Since then, I've been thinking we really needed to make some binoculars and with Easter a few weeks away, Bunny Binoculars…

St. Patrick’s Day Potato Painting
St. Patrick's Day is less than a week away. Do you decorate for all the holidays? We're just starting. We've always decorated for Christmas and carved pumpkins for Halloween, but now with little kids, I feel a bit more of an obligation to do so. A happy obligation, but an obligation none-the-less. So this year, we've come up with a super simple St. Patrick's Day Potato Painting. A cute and festive wall hanging.

Homemade Shamrock Shake
With St Patrick's Day right around the corner, I figured, it was the perfect time to share how to make one of my favorite milkshakes, a Homemade Shamrock Shake. McDonald's signature St. Patty's Day shake has long been a favourite of mine. Have you tried it? It only comes around for a limited time, right before St. Patrick's Day, but this year, let's make it at home. It's super easy and much cheaper!

Kid’s Favourite Playdough
It's been raining the entire week, here in Georgia. I don't mind a nice rainy evening here or there, but I'm over it. Ben wants to go outside, I'm ready for some sunshine and fresh air. Frankly, we're all a little bored, stuck inside. That's until, my girlfriend mentioned she had made playdough this past weekend, and a light bulb went off! That's when, I decided today was homemade playdough day! This dough has easily become my Kid's Favourite Playdough.

Easy Valentine Pop Tarts
Valentine's Day is right around the corner and falls on a Friday this year. How fun. We've decided we'll celebrate Saturday with our boys by doing an all out breakfast feast, including these easy valentine pop tarts. We tested out the recipe last weekend and they're delightful. Flaky pastry surrounds warm gooey strawberry jam all topped with a quick icing. My waffle-loving son has traded up his breakfast request for these homemade pop tarts. So, we'll oblige and make them again for Valentine's Day.

Easy Sprinkle Birthday Gift Tags
You guys, I’m already thinking about the holidays. My son and I were busy making Christmas gift tags a couple days ago. I don’t have any decorations up or gifts bought as of yet, but I’m itching to get started. I try to wait until thanksgiving before I start decorating, but with the cooler air rolling in, I’m getting antsy. Last week, my son and I started on Christmas preparations in other ways—gift tags. While prepping our work space (the kitchen table) with stuff to make Christmas tags, my son was busy rummaging around in the pantry. An activity he loves and…
