Maple Grilled Pineapple Slices (Two Ingredients)
The first time I made this, it was on a whim. I was at the cabin and my folks were grilling something on the barbecue, I don't exactly remember what, but I do remember these Maple Grilled Pineapple Slices. It's a super simple recipe with only two ingredients, so it's pretty hard to forget. But beyond being super easy, it's an incredible summer dessert, top it with a bit of ice cream and it's amazing!

Any Season Fruit Salad with Ginger Lime Dressing
This is my new favourite. A last minute, throw together fruit salad. It's easy, delicious and you probably have everything already on hand. I don't tend to pay a ton of attention to what's in season. I'll add that to my ever growing list of things to do–buy in season. Really, it makes sense, but at this moment I'm just not that organized. I do shop the sales, so I am, in a sense, buying for the season. What I do have though, is a stock pile of frozen fruit ready for smoothies. On the days that I want an easy, any…

Hot Mustard Sauce (McDonald’s Almost Copycat)
I'm a HUGE fan of McDonald's Hot Mustard Sauce. It's my top choice, if they don't have hot mustard, I will switch my entire order for something that doesn't require dipping. I have been really lucky out here, though, most of the time it's available, I do cross my fingers when I order because that well could run dry any day. So, to avoid the mustard sauce draught, I decided to come up with my own version. This way when I open that takeout bag and the mustard is missing, I'm already covered!

Homemade Ritz Thin Mints (Two Ingredients)
I hate to do this, but I just stumbled upon this recipe for the easiest Homemade Ritz Thin Mints and you guys, they're better than the original. I know, how dare I, those little mint disks are sacred, but with this recipe, I can indulge in the sweet treat as often as I want. And I don't have to wait to run into the troop at the grocery store.

Butterscotch layered Rice Krispie Squares
I miss my grandma. It'll be exactly six months tomorrow that she passed away. And tomorrow would've been her birthday. It seems like yesterday we were sitting in her kitchen, finishing lunch with a helping of whichever dessert she'd just made. She made a lot of delicious sweets, but Butterscotch Layered Rice Krispie Squares was a treat I had never had, before now.

Festive Cranberry, Bacon & Almond Pinwheels
Need a quick and easy appetizer for the holidays? Something you can throw together in minutes and will be one of the first to go? I've got you covered. Festive Cranberry, Bacon & Almond Pinwheels are packed full of flavours. The sweetness from the cranberry with the savoury bacon and the crunch of the almonds is such a delightful appetizer. Add in a bit of tangy feta cheese and green onions and you've got a snack that won't last long.

White Chocolate Puffcorn (Two Ingredient)
You guys know how much I like the sweet-savoury combo. I mean c'mon now, a sweet treat that gets a hit of salt at the end, is there anything better? It's a snack, I will literally stand next to, making sure I get the last bite! White Chocolate Puff Corn should, however, come with a warning label. This stuff is beyond addictive. Puffcorn on its own can be an obsession coat it in chocolate and, well, good luck staying away!

Easy Microwave Peanut Brittle
If I'm being honest here, my Mom's Easy Microwave Peanut Brittle is so much better than the stuff you buy in shops. Even the fancy candy shop versions don't hold a candle to my moms. It's airy, peanutty and best of all it's super easy. It takes maybe twenty minutes and a bit of freezing time and you've got a Christmas sweet that will be a total hit.

White Chocolate Christmas Candy
In our family, there are multiple names that this sweet treat goes by. Auntie Cath's Christmas cereal stuff, the good stuff, Christmas crack (because it's ridiculously addictive), and now I'm renaming it White Chocolate Christmas Candy. But I've also seen it called trash, clusters, and snack mix. The list goes on, but the one thing, I think we all can agree on, is that this snack is a must-every holiday season.
