White Chocolate Puffcorn (Two Ingredient)

What do you get when you cross puffcorn and white chocolate? Only the BEST Christmas snack ever invented. And with only two ingredients even the amateur bakers can take pride in this addictive easy treat! A no-bake recipe that makes perfect last-minute thank you gifts for everyone on your list.

You guys know how much I like the sweet-savoury combo. I mean c’mon now, a sweet treat that gets a hit of salt at the end, is there anything better? It’s a snack, I will literally stand next to, making sure I get the last bite! White Chocolate Puffcorn should, however, come with a warning label. This stuff is beyond addictive. Puffcorn on its own can be an obsession coat it in white chocolate and, well, good luck staying away!

Just like my Auntie Cath’s White Chocolate Christmas Candy, my Auntie Linda’s White Chocolate Puffcorn recipe always ends with requests for the recipe. With only two ingredients, it’s a perfect last-minute treat to gift to friends and family over the holidays. My aunt also likes to up the ante by adding in peppermint M&Ms, but it’s just as good with the two ingredients.

How to make White Chocolate Puffcorn

Ingredients

  • 24 oz of white chocolate (I used 2 – 12oz. bags of candy melts)
  • 7 oz puffcorn, butter flavoured (I used 2 – 3.5 oz bags of Chesters)

Instructions

  1. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave in 30-second increments until melted or melt in a double boiler.
  2. In a very large bowl, pour the melted chocolate over the puffcorn and stir until well coated.
  3. Spread it out onto two parchment-lined, rimmed baking sheets and let it harden.
  4. If you want to add sprinkles or peppermint M&Ms toss these on once the puffcorn is spread out on the baking sheets.
  5. Store in the freezer.

White Chocolate Puffcorn is a great snack and addition to any Christmas dessert buffet. My aunt sets it out on her coffee tables and it disappears so fast. My brother raves about this every year. It truly is a tasty snack and one that you’ll love too!
