Fudge is always one of those things that makes me pause an extra minute in a store. If I spot a display case of fudge, I always linger enough to see if there’s any flavour that I just have to have! Peppermint is always at the top of this list. When I came across a few two-ingredient recipes for fudge using pre-made frosting. I wondered if this could be made into a peppermint fudge with Hershey’s kisses.

My friends, it can! And it’s sooo easy! I did top half of the fudge with a crushed up candy cane, but that’s totally optional. Here’s how you can make your own batch of tasty Peppermint Kissed Fudge.

How to make Peppermint Kissed Fudge

Ingredients

  • 10 oz. bag of Peppermint flavoured Hershey Kisses
  • 16 oz. container to Berry Crocker vanilla icing

Instructions

  1. Unwrap the kisses and place them in a microwavable bowl. In 30 second intervals heat the kisses. My microwave only needed a minute to melt them completely.
  2. microwave the frosting for about 15 seconds or until it’s warmed through.
  3. Pour the icing into the kisses and mix well, pat into a wax paper-lined square pan and refrigerate until set, about an hour. Store in the freezer.

I like to eat mine straight from the freezer, it’s a bit sticky when it warms up and really is there anything better than cold fudge? I don’t think so. Give this a try and let me know what other ideas you think could work for a two-ingredient fudge. I’m always open to ideas and your emails are always welcome!
