Are you looking for a fun twist for a quick breakfast this weekend? Look no further, Cinnamon Rolled Pigs in a Blanket is a tasty sweet and savoury treat! Pillsbury cinnamon rolls get wrapped around fully cooked breakfast sausage and baked until golden brown. Nothing much beats a gooey cinnamon roll, but stuff it with sausage and frost it with icing and it’ll take you over the top.
I’m sure you’ve had the classic pigs in a blanket, mini wieners wrapped in crescent dough, sometimes with a bit of cheese and a fun dipping sauce. This breakfast version is amazing. I saw the idea in a Smithfield magazine ad and knew this would be a hit and it really is. My little guy helped with this easy two-ingredient recipe and loved every minute of it, maybe not as much as eating it though.
