Red Pepper & Spinach Lunchtime Pizza
I'm always looking for a quick and easy recipe to shake things up at lunch time. I find I get stuck in a bit of a rut, always eating the same things over and over. I had no intention of posting this recipe for Red Pepper & Spinach Lunchtime Pizza, when I made it a few weeks back. It was a bit of a throw together, but after one bite, I knew I had to share. This pizza takes no time, I mean literally, it bakes while you clean up the kitchen or go through your mail.

Creamy Sweet Dill Coleslaw
I grew up in a family that always serves salads at any meal. I can remember my aunt making a dill dressing for a plain old lettuce salad that took the salad from totally boring to amazing. So amazing, in fact, I chose this over the fresh from the oven buns. Shocking, I know! There's something about dill in a salad that gets me every time. When I made Creamy Sweet Dill Coleslaw, it seemed like a natural addition, but holy holy, did that go over well!

O’Fish’al Father’s Day Card
There is nothing better than a handmade craft from your child. They pour their little hearts into everything they do and want more than anything to please us. It melts my heart to see how proud my oldest gets after making a craft. His eyebrows go up and he smiles the biggest, cheesiest grin he can muster. It's so flippin' cute. I just can't. This O'Fish'al Father's Day Card is no exception.

Bunny Binoculars
I have been saving empty toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls and egg cartons for sometime now. Not with any particular craft in mind, but knowing that they may come in handy, one day. I had two empty toilet paper rolls on the countertop, in our washroom, and my son instinctively grabbed these and put them up to his eyes and told me he could see me. We laughed together and played I see you, for the next few minutes. Since then, I've been thinking we really needed to make some binoculars and with Easter a few weeks away, Bunny Binoculars…

Homemade Shamrock Shake
With St Patrick's Day right around the corner, I figured, it was the perfect time to share how to make one of my favorite milkshakes, a Homemade Shamrock Shake. McDonald's signature St. Patty's Day shake has long been a favourite of mine. Have you tried it? It only comes around for a limited time, right before St. Patrick's Day, but this year, let's make it at home. It's super easy and much cheaper!

Homemade Garlic Herb Bread
Did you know today is National Toast Day, the last Thursday in February. I'm pretty much obsessed with National Days right now. I came across this website the other day, and I've been wanting to cook based solely on national days. Today, based on the national day calendar, we could be eating a big bowl of chili with toast (or maybe Homemade Garlic Herb Bread) and then indulging with chocolate souffles. Just imagine how helpful this could be. "What's for dinner, Mom?" "Let me check the national day calendar." Somedays coming up with a dinner meal is a struggle. I might be…

Kid’s Favourite Playdough
It's been raining the entire week, here in Georgia. I don't mind a nice rainy evening here or there, but I'm over it. Ben wants to go outside, I'm ready for some sunshine and fresh air. Frankly, we're all a little bored, stuck inside. That's until, my girlfriend mentioned she had made playdough this past weekend, and a light bulb went off! That's when, I decided today was homemade playdough day! This dough has easily become my Kid's Favourite Playdough.
