Let me tell you there is nothing better than those delicious berries on a warm summer morning. But did you know you can buy frozen wild blueberries and while they might not be freshly picked, they’re still delicious and pretty darn close to the real deal! I decided to use them today to create a delicious Wild Blueberry Maple Syrup.

It took literally zero effort and now I have a homemade sauce that’s always ready for breakfast, desserts and the occasional Monte Cristo sandwich. In a small pot, I heated a bit of maple syrup and some blueberries together. The blueberries flavour the syrup and you end up with the perfect topping for ice cream and obviously Grandpa’s Cabin Pancakes. It’s ah-mazing! A definite must make!
